The first images of the former "Twilight" vampire as the batman were featured at the DC FanDome online convention.
During the DC Fan-Dome, the online convention organized to present the upcoming DC Comics film and television adaptations.
The first trailer for "The Batman", the film by director Matt Reeves starring Robert Pattinson in the role of the batman, was unveiled. The teaser, with a dark and dark flavor, has as its soundtrack the song "Something In The Way" by Nirvana.
It was highly anticipated by fans of the character created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger and comes a few days after the publication of the logo and the official poster.
Shooting halted due to pandemic
Filming of "The Batman", which also stars Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman), Andy Serkis (Alfred), Paul Dano (Riddler), Colin Farrell (Penguin), John Turturro (Carmine Falcone) and Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner Gordon), started in January but were temporarily suspended due to the pandemic and will resume in September.
The film is scheduled for release in 2021.
