Who was Halime Hatun

Halime Hatun was the dear wife of Kayi Tribe leader Ertugrul Ghazi and therefore of Ottoman Empire founder Osman Ghazi's son. Its sources are still uncertain, but Halime Hatun was born in 1205 CE.

Her birth year is mentioned in some resources as 1194 CE. Halime Hatun is sometimes referred to as Hayme Ana Hatun or Khaimah, but in the earliest Ottoman histories published in the 15th century, she wasn't even named.

Halime Hatun, or Halime Sultan, was a Seljuk princess, as was the source in Dirilis Ertugru Season, as she was Prinz Numan's daughter who became a family member and also Sultan Aladdin Kayqubad I's brother who ruled Seljuk Sultanate. He is the prince of the Self-government of Rum.

There is no information on Ertugrul Ghazi's marriage that a Seljuk princess married Ertugrul Ghasi, from a tribe still in search of a state or place, in which and in what circumstances.

But it is obvious that Halime Hatun, only for her love and devotion to the Bey of the kayi Ertugrul Ghazi tribe, gave up its title as a Seljuk princess and a palace life. The two Turkish branches, the Turkish Oghuz and the Turks Seljuk joined their blood ties after their marriage.

Also, Halime Hatun was granted the title of Sultan Halime as the headmistress of the tribe when Ertugrul Ghazi became chief of the Kayi tribe, and it was proved that she also was entitled to that title.

Her husband, his cause and a number of enemies she had fought for him had she helped greatly. After the death of Ertugrul Ghazi in 1281, Halime Sultan preceded her husband.

The scriptwriters and the director in Dirilis Ertugrul Season had to make her die before Ertugrul, when Osman Ghazi was born, because of the confidentiality reasons the actress portrayed her.

In Tomb of Ertugrul Ghazi, Sogut, Turkey, Halime Sultan is buried. Hayme Ana, buried in Domanic, is possibly Ertugrul Ghazi 's wife, according to some later information.

Three sons named Gunduz Bey and Saru Batu Savci Bey and Osman Bey were born to Halime Hatun and Ertugrul Ghazi. Some resources also note that two separate sons of Ertugrul Bey and Halime Sultan are the names of Saru Batu and Savci Bey. However, the previous one was the most authentic.
