How does Ertugrul die in the series?
At the age of 90s, he died. Rather than a valiant warrior, he was a strategic leader. He chose to expand the population of his very small tribe (rather than struggle, naturally, in his distressing border regions, which was just the contrary to the epic profile.

He died in Sogut at the age of probably 90 years in 1281. As I have studied, he died from grief over the death of his wife. He was buried in Sogut.
